With a master in observation and insomnia, Joana likes to document time, nature and the nature of time through people. She has a degree in Communication Sciences, which has forced her to think even more about life. She can't remember her dreams, but she believes in them. She photographs and combines her love for storytelling with film direction and editing. Sometimes she combines all these skills to create documental and multidisciplinary projects focussed on identity and territory.
As a photographer, she has collaborated with the São João National Theatre, Expresso Journal and as an editor, with Museu do Porto, Livraria Lello, Luís Araújo, António Parra, Tiago Guedes and others.
